Spell Of The Day-Good Fortune, Money Spell

I can attest this spell works pretty well. The day after I casted this spell, I got a check in the mail I wasn't expecting, and also found a check I misplaced.

This is a spell I made up myself; most Witches agree, the best spells are the ones that come from your heart.

You will need:

• A green votive candle
• Basil, mint, and/ sage oil
• A full moon night
• A blank check
• Faith

A full moon will bring the most power to your spell, but you can also do this spell anytime between the waxing and full moon cycle.

My rule of thumb: As the moon is growing, do spells to bring things to you, like love, money, and prosperity. As the moon is shrinking, do spells to take things away, such as bad habits and other negative things in your life.

For my spell, I chose to ask the Hindu Goddess Laskshmi for help; she is the Goddess of good fortune.

Anoint your candle with basil, mint, or sage oil. Light your candle as you chant this spell three times.

Laskshmi, please hear my plea

As I light this candle

Let good fortune come to me

And no harm to none

So mote it be!

Then take your blank check and write an amount. Personally, I believe I would write it for only what I NEED, not what I WANT. Sure I WANT a million dollars, but I believe greed will null the spell, or worse. To keep balance, Karma will give me the money, but in return, take away something precious to me. That's also why I add "and no harm to none" to my spell. I believe you need to be mindful of the balance of the Universe when you do your spells, and also the purity of your intent.

Fold up the check and store it away. Keep the candle lit (if you can do so safely) until it goes out on its own.

The final ingredient is faith. You need to believe that this spell will work!
